Formerly Tierra of NC, the company began its operation offering geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing as its core services. In 2008, Tierra of NC was rebranded and named Falcon Engineering, Inc. (Falcon) – expanding its services to also include special inspections and later on environmental consulting. With over 20 years of dedication, we continue to pledge professionalism, quality, and responsiveness to our clientele throughout North Carolina and beyond. Utilizing innovative approaches and pioneering technologies, the diversity and experience of our leadership team has enabled us to compile an extensive project portfolio encompassing very large complex projects in the commercial, industrial, private/public sector, and transportation markets. Service Lines: Geotechnical Engineering Testing and Inspections Environmental Services Laboratory Services AASHTO Accredited Laboratory - For the past 20 years, Falcon has been operating an in-house, state-of-the-art, AASHTO accredited laboratory; providing physical testing of soil, concrete, aggregate, asphalt and building materials. The lab is routinely audited in these fields through AASHTO’s Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) Assessment Program. The Laboratory is also certified with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). In addition to the in-house laboratory, Falcon can provide mobile, on-site laboratory services anywhere in the state or region.
