About FDQ

FDQ are the only food and drink specialist Awarding and End-point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education to deliver end-point assessments (EPA) for a range of qualifications and apprenticeship standards. Though we’ve been developing accredited qualifications for over 20 years our roots trace back to 1946, with the establishment of the Institute of Meat (IoM). The IoM remains a sister organisation and a valuable source of meat industry expertise to this day. As a food specialist awarding body and end-point assessment organisation the food and drink industry is at the heart of everything we do. Part of the ftc group, we’re a not-for-profit organisation which enables us to focus on doing the right thing, not driving the bottom line. Our aims include being Clear, Supportive, Fair, Flexible, Professional and Friendly. FDQ fully acknowledge each of these factors to ensure we provide apprentices with the best possible EPA experience.
