About Finance Yorkshire
Finance Yorkshire supports business growth across the region. Finance Yorkshire’s fund provides flexible investment packages to eligible SMEs based or locating to areas within Yorkshire and the Humber with the ambition to expand, create jobs and improve productivity. There continues to be a significant market demand for SME funding in the region. Finance Yorkshire’s Seedcorn and Growth Fund investments along with Business Loans and Micro-Loans help new and growing SMEs to introduce greater levels of innovation, develop new products and target new markets. Finance Yorkshire was established in 2010 to provide gap finance through debt and equity investments to SMEs. This Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises (“JEREMIE”) fund and Extension Fund saw £113 million invested in 500 companies between 2010 and 2017. Our new fund, launched in 2021, will invest more than £50m over the next five years as Finance Yorkshire continues to realise its investment portfolio from its earlier funds. Our experienced management team and fund managers are well placed to deliver finance where it is needed most.
