Fostering Media Connections (FMC) uses media and journalism to lead the conversation about children, youth and families in America. FMC has four main programs: The Imprint, Fostering Families Today, Youth Voices Rising and SafeCamp Audio. The Imprint (https://imprintnews.org/) is a national nonprofit online news outlet covering child welfare and youth justice. Produced by a diverse group of staff reporters and freelance writers, The Imprint's daily news stories, expert columns and op-eds provide in-depth coverage of the people, policies and practices that land children in foster care and criminal courts — systems affecting families and communities that are too often overlooked in our society. Youth Voices Rising (https://www.fosteringmediaconnections.org/yvr) is a media training program for youth with lived experience in foster care, juvenile justice systems and/or homelessness. Fostering Families Today (https://fosteringfamiliestoday.com/) is a bimonthly resource magazine distributed to foster, adoptive and kinship families across the U.S. SafeCamp Audio (https://safecampaudio.org) is a podcast network on child welfare, youth justice and youth homelessness.
