About Goldstein Heather

Founded at the start of 2019, our studio has steadily grown and flourished. From the beginning, we have incorporated a big practice mentality into the life of the practice, absorbed over many years at Squire and Partners. This has led to work in various sectors at a range of scales, with residential work encompassing extensions to c. 200 unit schemes and all sizes between. But whatever scale we work at, we drive projects forward with the same level of strategic and aesthetic engagement. Designing beautiful buildings that meet and exceed client requirements is a core objective. Beliefs about what makes a building beautiful are passionately held in an open and constructive studio culture – we take our influences broadly, always aware of context and the diversity of architectural languages. We know when a more distinctive design approach is right, or when elegant understatement is more appropriate. Alongside design excellence, we also have the experience and acumen needed to overcome increasingly challenging statutory and commercial environments. Given an increasingly sclerotic planning system, we always aim to present and explain our designs clearly, logically and contextually so that planning officers can accurately evaluate the merits of our proposals. This planning success has led to the next phase of our life as a studio, with tender and construction packages coming forward on key projects.
