Grupo Profármaco is an innovative international group of Spanish origin, specialised in marketing pharmaceutical products in the area of Central America and the Caribbean. It manages Regulatory Affairs –health and brands -, Market Research, Marketing, Promotion, Sales Network and Distribution through its own subsidiaries. Grupo Profármaco consists of seven additional companies (Mercantil Farmacéutica S.A., "Mefasa") with offices in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. Our sales team, which has a major presence in the area, consists of 130 pharmaceutical representatives and salespeople, the majority of whom have Health Science degrees. Together with our staff in Marketing, Information Technology, Administration, Finances, Logistics and Distribution they account for a human group that already stands at over 200 professionals. We aim to meet the needs of the laboratories we represent, helping them to become firmly established and grow on the Central American and Dominican pharmaceutical market, following our company mission, which is based in the service provided, team work, ongoing training, open communication and transparency. The results of our mission are reflected in the trust that renowned pharmaceutical multinationals place in us. Grupo Profármaco is the bridge between the laboratory, physician, chemist, health authorities and the patient in Central America and the Caribbean.
