Inspired by the Passivhaus construction principles founded in Sweden and Germany. Häuser bridge the gap between those strictest of protocols and the practical limitations of planning layouts and conditions. We recognise that our environmental principles must also respect defined orientations, specific building materials and even compliance with conservation restrictions. To achieve this, we have a fabric first approach to create an infrastructure that minimises thermal bridging whilst maximising air tightness and insulation. Central to our approach is the use of Timber Frame construction, known for its sustainability and minimal carbon footprint. Our emphasis is on ensuring that this core element remains independent of the final property aesthetics, emphasising our commitment to both eco-conscious construction and versatile design. We give our customers what they want, a contemporary design using traditional materials on the outside, whilst creating the most environmentally efficient property on the inside. The Häuser eco-fabric is the basis for delivering a zero carbon new build house in the UK. Manufactured to strict standards under licence in Halifax, West Yorkshire. Our pre-fabricated homes have exceptionally low heating or cooling requirements, whilst catering for technologies such as solar, under-floor heating, mechanical heat vent recovery and air source heat pumps.
