About Hedley Basford Photography
Hedley Basford holds the Licentiate distinction from The Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain (LRPS). A photographer from the age of nine, he developed and printed his photographs as a teenager. Photography was always a hobby whilst he ran his own management consultancy practice for 35 years (Hedley is a chartered accountant and has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management). Since 2012 Hedley has returned to photography in a full time capacity, principally commercial photography and has his own studio. Through his business background and experience he understands the importance of making images work for the benefit of businesses. Hedley sometimes describes himself as a business consultant helping companies be more successful through the effective use of image.
