About Helping Hands Prof Counseling & Consulting Corp
Our companies offer a variety of counseling and consulting services. We support local agencies who also serve others. We serve children, adolescents, families, adults, and corporate and/or organizational consulting within agencies. We are highly trained and skilled in trauma focused behavior therapy, counseling paychology, and assessing individuals. Mrs Sullins is FEMA trained and is a Liscensed American Red Cross Disaster Response Mental Health Volunteer for the South Alabama Region, recieving advanced training in the areas of Incident Command, Crisis Response, Compassion Fatigue, Psychological First Aid, and Campus and Workplace vulnerability assessment to violence and is Active Shooter-Active Killer certified. Violence prevention and Response has become a pivotal area in need of expansion and Helping Hands PCC can provide such consulting services. We are active in our communities, including working within our school systems to assist in issues such as bullying, violence prevention, and the importance of wellness and healthy relationships. We are very passionate about serving; serving is our foundation. We place emphasis on serving others whole heartedly and currently, compassion fatigue is a rapidly growing concern within first responder communities. We provide crisis intervention to EMS, FIRE, Police/Law Enforcement, Educators, Medical/ER (especially high trauma areas), social services, teachers, and advocacy workers. In addition, Mrs. Sullins is contracted with many central Alabama city and county law enforcement agencies performing Psychological Evaluations for the APOST pre employment process. We aim to enhance community growth and wellness, taking burnout to resilience in an effort to improve career satisfaction and performance! We value the support given by local state agencies as a vendor to provide services for abuse and/or crime victims as we contract with CAC's while educating on the necessity of safety, security, and fostering hope and healing.
