John and his wife Mary Hetherington have served in Church Ministry for 20 years and are well aware of the need for empathy and dignity as part of all funeral preparations. They established Hetherington Funerals in 1999, after retiring as Salvation Army pastors. With their extensive pastoral experience, they place a high value on offering compassion and respect. Hetherington Funerals has grown to become a successful funeral service provider in Western Australia and its hard earned virtuous reputation is due to the sensitive and courteous client service to the smallest detail and high-quality facilities. Ongoing growth has also seen an increase in staff. This has allowed John and Mary to transfer responsibility for the day to day operation of Hetherington Funerals into the capable hands of Eric Dekker. Eric was previously the manager of Baskerville Funerals, which merged with Hetherington and Classic Funerals in April 2014. Eric’s daughter, Chelsea, is responsible for running the office and providing friendly administrative and client support. All our staff members have served in the funeral industry for many years and possess a wealth of experience and knowledge, ensuring every funeral is conducted to the highest personal standards.
