About Homeless Helping Homeless, Inc
In October 2008, the Founder, Adolphus Parker, had a counterintuitive idea — homeless people helping other homeless individuals. Out of this concept, emerged HHH, which became an official non-profit organization in 2009. Mr. Parker felt it was his personal responsibility to do something about the dreadful situation of the chronically homeless sleeping on the street. He realized that despite bad choices in addition to mental and addiction issues etc, homeless people still needed housing. It was Mr. Parker’s belief that if these individuals were given the opportunity and empowered, they could do something not only for themselves but for many others, as well. HHH was designed to be operated and controlled by the clients themselves. HHH’s mission is to provide permanent housing for the homeless who do not have money or job – making them homeless no more. HHH's vision is a world in which people are homeless no more.
