Horry-Georgetown Technical College is a multi-campus, publicly-supported, comprehensive community college within the South Carolina Technical College System, mandated to provide exceptional learning opportunities and technological training to meet the postsecondary educational needs and interests of the residents and businesses of Georgetown and Horry Counties. Continuing Education is training for adults of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of education. We provide Continuing education and preparatory courses and educational services for citizens who desire to expand their educational experiences in avocational, leisure, skills preparation, and lifetime learning for individual growth and community development benefits, and for the expansion, enrichment, and development of the communities served. We also work with employers and economic development agencies for the advancement of their particular workforce development needs and interests and of the business and industrial community.
