About Hot Rocks Jewels

Hot Rocks Jewels began in 2016 by mom of two, Jackie Shapiro. After having run a successful jewelry design company Jackie took time off to raise her kids. When she got back to work she realized that the retail landscape had changed considerably and there was a need for multi-tasking products that would not only look good, but help individuals feel good. After discovering that lava beads could hold a scent for several days, Jackie began custom blending fragrance oils to be worn on her jewelry designs. The concept of turning fashionable jewels into a personal diffuser was born! The essential, rough, porous nature of lava is a constant inspiration as it can stand on its own or be the perfect background for other powerful gems.
