About HTC Consulting

HTC Consulting is a facility management and life safety code consulting firm assisting hospitals, healthcare facilities, colleges and universities with interim facility management, life safety and fire safety code compliance, Joint Commission Environment of Care® consulting, Statement of Conditions (SOC), Basic Building Information (BBI) as well as life safety and fire safety code assessments. Founded by Steven M. Cotch in January 2004, Mr. Cotch's professional credentials include a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME), from Union College in Schenectady, New York. He is recognized by the American Hospital Association (AHA) as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (CLSSGB) as accredited by Purdue University. Mr. Cotch has 30 years of progressive facility and plant operations experience as a consultant, a Director of Facility Management, as well as a Life Safety Code Surveyor with the Hospital Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). Mr. Cotch is also an active member in the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) as well as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
