Hunter Browns is an innovative food startup company that launches in Summer 2019 and specializes in brown butter products. Their first product, Brown Butter Cubes, was recently nominated for Product of the Year 2019 from the BC Food Processors Association. Brown butter is a quintessential gourmet ingredient known for its rich, hazelnutty taste and aroma. It is mostly used in high end cooking but is somewhat tedious to cook, and for many, intimidating to make as it is an exact process and if left for a second too long, could burn; at which, the butter is ruined and ultimately discarded. Hunter Browns is changing that. We are introducing our Brown Butter Cubes, which is pre-made brown butter in cube form of one-tablespoon increments. For the first time ever, brown butter has become a true simple ingredient - making it easily accessible for both home cooks and seasoned chefs to elevate their dishes instantly. This means significantly less cook time, no risk of burning, and the consistency and reliability needed for commercial use, with the branding and look attractive for personal use. Hunter Browns is the founded by Lanna Lucas, who wanted to create an accessible way for recipes to become more elevated in a convenient yet still authentic way for those who are "culinarily-challenged" (… and to feed her picky son.
