About IAAM

Hi there, we’re IAAM, a Vancouver-based technology firm that specializes in recruitment. We’re here to bring you an innovative online platform for video resume streaming to shake up the talent acquisition process by placing candidate personalities at its centre. Instead of your traditional resume submission – a Word document or PDF in plain text – our platform allows candidates to introduce themselves to potential employers through a video resume highlighting their character while also speaking to their professional experience. Employers can browse through these video resumes, make formal interview requests, and send out job offers – all in IAAM. What’s In (Our) Name? We chose the name IAAM pronounced "I AM" – and short for "It’s All About Me" – to empower candidates. Over the years, we’ve helped countless individuals find jobs, and while we got to know the amazing personalities of many of these individuals, employers were hesitant to consider them on paper. When you work in recruitment, it quickly becomes clear that candidates who might not tick every single box get passed over for candidates that do, but the candidates that do don’t necessarily come with a personality you’d want to work with. Of course this isn’t always the case, but we wanted to create a platform for candidates struggling in their job search to let employers get to know them on their terms – and, of course, to help employers find those shining personalities buried deep in stacks of resumes.
