Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals (IAEP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliate chapter of the National Association of Environmental Professionals. We are a multidisciplinary society of professionals whose experience and practice relates directly to enhancing environmental quality. What does IAEP do? - Provides professional development certifications through educational seminars; - Unites practitioners in business, government and education in the fields of environmental planning, research, management, and evaluation; - Promotes public and professional informed awareness of issues affecting environmental quality; - Incorporates environmental concerns in planning and decision making; - Hosts an annual student environmental career seminar which provides students interested in a career in the environment the opportunity to meet with environmental professionals and practitioners for career guidance; and - Provides research grant awards to students enrolled in environmental studies programs.
