Imagine The Room began in 1989 as Kamloops Klosets, founded by Doug, a skilled craftsman who moved his young family from Vancouver to the Okanagan with a vision to help people live more organized lives. He introduced a new European cabinet hanging system to the region and built a business on craftsmanship, practicality, and service. Today, we’re proud to be a second-generation family business, continuing that same legacy with new tools and technology to meet the needs of modern homeowners and builders. With CNC manufacturing, 3D design software, and efficient systems, we’ve been able to take what we’ve always done best—modular, custom storage—and bring it to more spaces and more people. In 2016, we rebranded as Imagine The Room to reflect that growth. From closets and pantries to laundry rooms, garages, and entertainment units, our team designs, builds, and installs smart, space-maximizing solutions that fit any home. We’ve also expanded into kitchens through our Simply Suite Kitchens division—offering high-quality, cost-effective cabinets ideal for basement suites and multi-family projects.
