About International Law Education Group (Ileg)

The International Law Education Group (ILEG) offers courses on public international law with particular emphasis on the intersection of human rights and world religions. The ILEG was founded in 2010 as a non-profit organization to promote education on the United Nations and public international law. Since then, the organization has morphed into an online venture with the goal of supporting the democratization of education. Whether you are a political science or international relations major or minor, a high school student preparing for college, a professional seeking continuous education, or an individual desiring more information on the world we live in, we believe our courses and study materials will be of great value to you. Through our video courses and related materials, we seek to bring the study of international relations alive while developing the student’s passion for a legal and multilateral approach to salient international issues. Our mission is twofold: 1) Teach facts and theories based on scholarly research 2) Inspire students to work for a more peaceful and just world We adopt the words contained in the Constitution of UNESCO, which states, "Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed."
