Helping high schools and community colleges build quality internship programs with cost effective, field-tested materials since 2005.Why Internships? 21st Century high school seniors and community college students want the opportunity to find the right path before embarking on a post secondary qualification, career and higher education. Today’s students want: Work Experience: Students want to explore a career on the ground before they take that next step of committing to a qualification, career or university. They want to use what they know in the real world. To Learn New Skills: Students want to learn by doing. They want to build those critical skills that can lead to career and college success. A Mentor: Students want a mentor to help guide them as they plan their future; they want the opportunity to build those important adult-to-adult relationships as they move from adolescence to adulthood. Students have told us what they need. Now is the time for us, as educators, to ensure that they have the right learning experiences that will help them make those all important college and career decisions.
