About Investing in Education

Investing in Education encompasses two separate corporations: a US registered 501(c) (3) charity, The Investing in Education Foundation, and a Mexican public charity, Fondo para la Inversión en la Educación A.C. Investing in Education, created in 2005, is a supporting organization that raises funds in the United States for our programs in Mexico. El Fondo para la Inversión en la Educación A.C., launched in 2007, executes our programs and raises funds in Mexico. Each entity is governed by its own board of directors. The two entities share grantmaking, program and administrative resources. Both organizations were founded to support elementary education in Mexico.
