About It's Culture Innit

It’s Culture Innit (ICI) is a grassroots social platform that creates safe, inclusive, and attitude-free spaces where gay, bi, trans and queer men can connect in real life, combat loneliness, and build lasting friendships. What began as a small email group in 2015, has grown into a vibrant, international community with over 3,000 members across London, Sydney, and Berlin. Through monthly mixers, cultural outings, theatre groups, walks, talks, and support-driven events, ICI fosters real-world connection, belonging, and care. We understand the realities many face — social anxiety, mental health struggles, unemployment, and cultural isolation — and we exist to help individuals navigate and overcome those barriers through visibility, warmth, and purpose-driven activity. It’s Culture Innit Charitable Foundation (ICICF) was established to formalise and expand this impact. ICICF supports ICI’s continued growth through funding, governance, and partnerships — ensuring the long-term sustainability of safe spaces for our communities. Together, ICI and ICICF: • Create affirming social environments free of judgement or pressure. • Deliver real-world events that promote mental wellbeing and emotional connection. • Partner with local councils, cultural institutions, and other LGBTQ+ organisations. • Build employment-focused and mental health initiatives that empower members. • Expand our reach across the UK and globally. At our core, we believe no one should feel alone. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and part of something real. That’s what ICI is — and always will be.
