About James Group
James Group family of companies was founded fifty years ago as a trucking company founded by our Chairman. Headquartered in Detroit, the Company has evolved into a 138M (2018 rev) supply chain services company. Today our approximately two hundred employees provide a variety of warehousing, distribution, manufacturing and assembly services as well as information technology expertise as a Tier 1 supplier to global giants Ford, General Motors and Toyota. We are a Tier 2 supplier to FCA through Metalsa in Michigan, Indiana and Mississippi. Through the years we have developed an excellent reputation for our outstanding customer service and the value -added solutions we provide through our innovative and flexible processes; our integrated and customizable technology platforms and our team of talented, smart and diverse professionals. We are a privately held, veteran and minority owned family business who is led by our Chairman. The world is changing, however, and his two young successors, John E. James and Lorron James, have a robust vision for the future. Our goal is to leverage our relationships to continue to grow our business to align with the economy of the future.
