We provide a façade/roofing consulting service and a range of structural engineering services for larger and smaller clients. Our clients are located in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and The Bronx.. We inspect building envelope conditions, from today's new-construction water leaks, back to sourcing original construction defects, some spanning decades since the building was built. We recommend corrective work/restoration work as required to address our client's problem. Structural engineering services include cutting concrete floors for new stairs, installing LVL wood and steel beams in row houses, installing elevators in multi-story buildings, and adding extensions or new floors to existing buildings. We prepare engineering drawings and submit specifications for filing with NYC Dept. of Buildings and the Landmarks Preservation Commission. We issue Requests for Proposals to contractors deemed fitted for the work. We inspect the contractor's work for compliance with approved plans and specifications. We will sign-off the work for DOB Special Inspections as appropriate to the work.
