About Jennifer Diaz Jewelry

Jennifer Diaz was born in the Dominican Republic where she began studying plastic arts since early childhood. She is currently studying for her Masters Degree in Interior Design at Florida International University in the United States. She also earned a degree in Jewelry Design in 2006 from Miami Dade College in Florida. Jennifer’s designs are greatly influenced by her cultural background as she comes from a country where colorful artworks, music and dancing are integral to the every day life. She inherits her artistic traits from a family of classical musicians and artisans who taught her since and early age, to value the manual labor that goes into making art and the determination needed to pursue an artistic career. Jennifer has combined her passion for design and her love for jewelry to create beautiful and contemporary pieces for people of all ages. She travels throughout the world in search for inspiration, which she draws specially from works done by native groups of the Americas and also Middle Eastern cultures. She began designing jewelry in 2004 and immediately gained an exclusive group of clients who encouraged her to pursue her career as a jewelry designer. In actuality, her designs are handcrafted in Mexico and the United States by a selected team of talented artisans.
