Offering Compliance advice and guidance to new and established businesses. Specialising in Regulated Qualifications (Ofqual, CCEA, Qualifications Wales and SQA regulatory authorities), Data Protection, and financial services compliance, specifically insurance, fund management and complaints handling I am a highly experienced Compliance Officer and Compliance auditor with over 25 years’ experience, having started in the Financial Services sector under the FSA (now FCA and PRA), data protection and anti-money laundering, moving into the regulated qualifications arena in 2010, covering Ofqual in England, CCEA in Northern Ireland, Qualifications Wales and the SQA in Scotland. I am also the Chief Executive Officer for a professional membership body - the National Association of Licensed Paralegals - dealing with all aspects of the self-regulatory body and its members, as well as acting a Responsible Officer for their regulated qualifications designed specifically for paralegals I have undertaken audits to ascertain any gaps in compliance prior to the regulator coming in to ensure a company is fully prepared for the visits. Whilst I cannot give advice on which insurance policy or make any recommendations about what policy may be right for your business, I can guide you through the insurance requirements for your business, what is best practice and check policy documents to ensure that you have the correct cover in place so that you can go to your supplier/broker armed with a better understanding of what you actually need. I have good relationships with training organisations through my links to regulated qualifications and can assist companies in finding the right trainers and qualifications to suit their needs.
