About Jo Darley &

Jo was locally trained and fortunately began her hairdressing career in the late ‘70s, an exciting time with hairdressing being at the forefront of the fashion industry. Cutting hair then became more about precision in the ‘80s, and Jo was involved with hairdressing education before even completing her apprenticeship. Jo always had a passion for problem solving and finding solutions – cutting became her forte. Eventually, Jo was able to express her creativity for cutting, whilst developing all other aspects of hairdressing through education and then teaching others herself. For over 35 years Jo has travelled extensively, demonstrating and teaching worldwide and enabling so many other stylists to grow in the hairdressing industry – many who have become salon owners themselves. Jo believes that all trainees and learners are at the forefront of any salon and that the willingness of giving back to the industry will maintain high standards and ensure the salon experience for years to come. Jo Darley & Co. is for everyone sharing Jo’s passion for hairdressing; putting client’s needs first, within a community of innovating, giving and creative individuals.
