John Williamson Manrique is a California based design studio launched in 2016 by John Manrique, a stalwart in the apparel and home design industries for over 25 years. John believes in the power of collaboration. “A project’s individual beauty lives within the collaboration between me and the client, the space itself, the locale, and the many artisans and crafts people I bring to each project,” says Manrique. Having learned from and worked with some of the world’s most revered tastemakers in the home decor industry, John is well versed in all idioms, can create environments from classic to contemporary and all nuances in between. “Yet,” says Manrique, “the most exciting work is creating something new, and important.” It’s the expansive, open nature of true collaboration that allows him to do just that - every time. John’s mission is to create environments that represent "the way my clients want to live, the ideas that define their tastes, perspectives, and connection to the world".
