About Joy2Learn Foundation

In 2000, Joy2Learn was a pioneer in producing online, interactive video presentations featuring the legendary artists Gregory Hines, Elizabeth Murray, Wynton Marsalis, Hector Elizondo, Richard Serra, Frank Gehry and Alan Gampel. The mission is to help incorporate the arts into the core curriculum in public education. These presentations were designed to introduce the arts into public schools and to provide content to teachers across the curriculum. They serve as a resource for the study of multiple subject areas, from the arts to history, literacy, math, science and more. Now, Joy2learn recognizes the increasing need for the arts and creativity in underserved communities and embarks on a professional development program to guide and support teachers on the path to integrate creativity into their classrooms. This online cross-disciplinary professional development course empowers educators to generate a creative curriculum that inspires new, creative ways of thinking for their students.
