K2 Studios is a full service design boutique born from the success of New World Design Builders. We specialize in hospitality and are best known for our landmark restaurant work, as our restaurants have won James Beard awards, collected numerous design accolades and awards, grossed hundreds of millions of dollars, and include the most Instagrammed restaurant in the United States.* Our work is almost exclusively referral based, and we carefully curate a small number of projects that stimulate the interest of our founder, Chris Kofitsas. This allows Chris to be intimately involved in leading the creative and design for each project we do. Additionally, Chris’s unique set of skills and experience allows us to provide our clients with a level of expertise that other designers or architects simply can’t. First, having designed hundreds of hospitality projects allows us to incorporate operational efficiencies that surprise and delight even the most seasoned operators. Second, after almost thirty years of building our designs, Chris understands construction intimately, a knowledge base that is invaluable in creating impactful designs that can be built as cost efficiently as possible. As well as creating exciting environments that stimulate the senses, we have established a reputation for quality work and attentive service, consistently delivering solutions that maximize the individual goals and visions of our clients.
