KIKOFF Soccer Centres operate 5-a-side football facilities in Sydney. Our facilities use the highest quality turf and fencing to ensure you get the best 5-aside experience. Open 7 days a week you can hire our fields for a casual kick around or join one of our leagues or junior coaching programs to get the most out of what we offer. We aim to improve the availability and standard of sporting and recreational facilities for local residents and visitors at no cost to the council or relevant landowner/operator. At the same time providing the highest standard of safety and management to further benefit the user and thus the development of sporting ability and achievement in Australia. 5-a-side Leagues 5-a-side Football Leagues and Summer Soccer, keep fit or challenge for the title, our non-stop adrenaline fueled games are for players of all ages and capabilities. Over 400 teams played in competitions across our centres in Summer 2013-14. Football Coaching Our Football Coaching is based around a Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) model. LTPD is a scientific model for periodised athlete training and development that respects and utilises the natural stages of physical, mental, and emotional growth in athletes. LTPD is designed to: Promote lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. Provide a structured player development pathway. Describe best practices for elite player development. Create long-term excellence. After children enter at the Kikstarters stage and become physically literate, they can continue on a pathway towards excellence through the Soccer Schools and into the Player Development Squad or choose a more recreational avenue within the Soccer Schools itself as not all kids strive for a career as a professional-footballer.
