About KK Mediat

The origins of KK Mediat roots to mid 1990s. Back then I created my first websites (about how to build websites). Few years later, when I was doing my bachelors studies on eCommerce I started thinking about rebuilding those sites and creating myself a modern portfolio. As I had stumbled upon a brand new marketing technique called SEO, I wanted to give it a try as well. So I bought my first .com and started working. It did not take long for it to become one of the biggest and most popular webdev and internet marketing related websites in Finland of the late 1990s and early 2000s. In late 2001 life granted me an opportunity to think of my future career. I took a very bold step and decided to start my own business. KK Mediat was born in January 7th 2002. Initially the business was all about SEO and ecommerce and digital publishing, but as years went by also affiliate marketing, PPC-marketing and web-analytics came along very strongly into mix. As my knowledge on the prior topics grew stronger, so did the demand of training classes and similar services. So I responded to that cry, and ultimately became one of the biggest indentent ITC-training services providers in Finland with knowledge nobody else had. Needless to say those were some busy and very good years. Like in all stories, there is also the end. 2019 was a year of great personal lossess for me. Just like in the beginning of my story, life granted me an opportunity to think of what I want to become. And I chose differently. KK Mediat still continues to exist and serves existing customers (and occasional new clients). It is a dragon that sleeps. Maybe it awakens back to it's full glory someday, maybe it continues to sleep. Time will tell.
