knowlie is a free wellness multitool which enables users to discover, save, and catalogue thoughtfully curated wellness content from a variety of disciplines. We’re developing an app that utilizes the accessibility of the internet to provide a solution that empowers users to discover and save the techniques and philosophies that work best for them. knowlie’s users will enjoy global contributor-generated content ranging from yoga and nutrition, to art therapy, gardening, motivational speaking, and much more. We also proudly cultivate a sense of community while offering our users complete anonymity. By allowing users to anonymously post inspirational and personal recovery stories without the added pressure of a comment section, knowlie gives users the ability to reflect on shared experiences without fear or stigma. With our community-based discovery feature, users can discover content based on what other app users are saving. knowlie's mission is simple. To bring wellness to the masses, with the individual in mind. Have a background in health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, art therapy, music therapy, content creation? Are you passionate about a hobby and willing to teach it to others? Consider growing your brand and following by becoming a knowlie content contributor. Why the name? knowlie came to us for two reasons: 1. It’s a catchy made up word with emphasis on “knowledge” (something we hope to impart on all our future users) 2. It’s an affectionate nickname Frank (our co-founder) and his wife have given their 2-month-old son Nohl (AKA Nohlie), who’s now been in several of our meetings Why the raccoon? Aside from being cute but misunderstood creatures, raccoons are known for their ability to use tools, their intellect, adaptability and resilience.
