LA ALMAZARA - LA ORGANIC is a unique project in Spain aimed at strengthening the image of Spanish olive oil, on which we have been working for over 10 years. It is the world's first Author's Oil Mill Museum, combining art, culture, and architecture. HISTORY: Over 200 years ago, in the La Amarilla estate near Ronda (Andalusia), a group of nuns began producing olive oil from the fruit of ancient olive trees. The oil from these olive groves, located on the outskirts of one of the most beautiful and emblematic cities in Andalusia and Spain, has always been locally famous for its exceptional quality. The Gómez de Baeza family, current owners of La Amarilla, decided to maintain the estate's olive oil tradition and start marketing their legendary oil for the first time. LA Organic was born in the 1990s. As sales increased and olive oil production at La Amarilla became insufficient, LA Organic adopted the model of associated estates, common in the wine world but unusual in the olive oil sector. This system is unique and flexible, allowing the company to control both quantity and quality. Among LA Organic's shareholders are some of the most important names in the organic olive oil business, such as José Cano (Antonio Cano e Hijos), Francisco Serrano (Almazaras de la Subbética), César Colliga, and Maximiliano Arteaga. Together, the partners are responsible for blending the oils from the company's 56 associated estates to create LA Organic's exceptional range of organic extra virgin olive oils. Michel Rolland, one of the world's most famous winemakers, is a shareholder and blending consultant for LA Organic, bringing his 40 years of experience in the wine world to these fine olive oils. Philippe Starck, renowned French creator, designer, and architect, is the Artistic Director of the company and has created the brand identity.
