It was born amid my continuous explorations of the undiscovered synthesis of nature and its vibrations: from exquisite Maple and Ebony wood to millennia-old amber, volcanic rocks, precious metals and even meteorites. All these natural elements are fused and shaped in a well-balanced drop – an elegant art piece which resonates the warmth of wood, solidity of rock and sonority of metal. Rapolas Grazys established a trademark called LAVA DROPS which connects sound and design collaboration and creates exclusive one of a kind functional musical art pieces to enlarge musical playability and inspire creativity. Each Lava Drop is created from authentic and natural nature resources like real amber stones, meteorite from the atmosphere, bell brass parts, aluminium, titanium, exotic and sustainable wood, silver, gold, stiffened volcanic lava, built with modern technologies and precision craft.
