About Learning Couture™

Learning Couture™ designs solutions for simplifying and customizing professional learning within personalized, competency-based systems. After years of working with teachers and schools that aspired to provide learners more personalized, authentic, personally-relevant experiences, the leaders at Learning Couture created tools that address the major questions facing educators implementing change: What does “it” look like in the classroom? How do I know I’m making progress? Is what we’re doing having an impact? Where do I/we start? Our web-based Customizing Learning Platform includes tools that effectively document current reality, the impact of professional learning, student-level and teacher-level results, and growth patterns over time. The Platform can be used by teachers for self-reflection about their own practice and growth and by leaders (building leaders, professional development designers, higher ed members) to develop and monitor professional development plans for organizations and individual teachers. A core value of Learning Couture is to model the learning experiences for adult learners that we are working to provide young learners. To that end, the Customizing Learning Platform supports a personalized approach to professional learning by utilizing the principles of competency-based education within our solution to support teachers as they change practice and therefore learner outcomes.
