About Les Sessions d'écoute Marteau
Today we consume music in a very different way than at this time since the music fills a space of background rather than foreground. As an answer we would like to create a space that rehabilitates the listening of the music so that the public can appreciate it with its good value thanks to an excellent system of sound, a police station of a selection of sought-after music , and a silent space where Montrealers could slow down and immerse themselves completely in the world of high-quality albums for a coffee or an afternoon. Back in Montreal Simon and Gabriel joined Bernard Adams musician and accountant met to found the NPO: Marteau listening sessions. Together with Hugues Bélanger, they organize events with invited curators to enjoy works unknown to the general public while waiting to found a café inspired by meikyoku kissaten.
