About LINKS Institute

LINKS Institute is Manitoba’s first dedicated online career college. We specialize in two certificate programs: mental health & harm reduction. Students considering their options for further/higher education will be interested to know that our programs can be completed in as little as six months full time. This is because we use a condensed format to ensure students can get working more quickly. Our programs are delivered in online live interactive format meaning students do not need to relocate for school. Sometimes students move away from home to study and find themselves lacking their support networks. With LINKS, students can remain at home and stay connected with the resources they need to be successful. Our philosophy at LINKS Institute is that students at all levels of their education deserve the highest quality of instruction. That’s why our instructors have a minimum of a master’s degree in a related field, a PhD or a PhD in progress. In addition to certificate programs to get students working we offer workplace training and education for the mental health, social service and related fields. LINKS Institute is open to innovative partnerships with health and social service agencies to provide students with positive practicum experiences. Suitable practicum placements include mental health services, child and family service organizations, non-profit groups and more.
