About Live for Work
Live for Work is an HSE / IOSH approved organisation committed to offering first-class First Aid at Work training, Mental Health First Aid training and Health and Safety training. We offer a variety of accredited and non-accredited courses to suit all levels of workers from ground level to management. Our training is designed to be interactive, and to bring the serious subject of Health and Safety to life. We hold Chartered Membership of IOSH and offer personalised onsite Health and Safety Consultancy Services. We work with you and your employees to help you create a safe working environment and ensure legal compliance. We do not operate a ‘quick visit – here’s the manual’ approach, instead we will visit and work on your site as often as is necessary or required to get to know your processes and your staff, involving personnel at all levels to achieve the end goals. In response to the growing need for having trained Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA) in the workplace, Live For Work has launched a course centred around the mental health and well-being of workers. The MHFA England training course is designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first-aid basis. Trainees will gain a qualification in Adult Mental Health First Aid, with the certificate issued by Mental Health First Aid (England). Live for Work can also provide ongoing support to organisations and their Mental Health First Aiders to ensure that their presence creates a positive impact.
