About Living Pink for Breast Cancer
The “Living Pink Through Fashion” Movement was created out of the hearts of Kimberly Edwards, International Model & Designer of “K, Turn Around” Jewelry. Kimberly Edwards’ mother, Ingrid, is a 4 1/2 year breast cancer survivor and has dealt with most treatments available for this disease. She’s gone through 2 surgeries, lymph nodes removed, chemotherapy, radiation & a new preventative treatment of Herceptin. This was directly after the loss of Kimberly’s father to a rare form of cancer little children get in their extremities, rhabdomyosarcoma. Kimberly has lost a handful of aunts to breast cancer, as well as having some older cousins touched by this illness. Doing what she loves to do, working in the fashion & modeling industry, Kimberly created this idea to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness and to make it a reality for breast cancer patients to be survivors! More needs to be done to find a Cure for Breast Cancer…
