LSI, Inc. was founded as Logistic Services International in 1978 by two former Naval Officers to support the aviation and training needs of foreign militaries operating U.S. Navy aircraft and systems. For over 40 years, LSI, Inc. has supported a customer base that includes the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security, foreign militaries, and the largest military aircraft manufacturing and defense companies in the world. In 2006, the founders sold LSI, Inc. to the employees, making LSI, Inc. a 100% employee-owned company. A Diverse Workforce LSI, Inc. employs a diverse workforce that includes multiple engineering disciplines, highly skilled craftsmen, courseware designers and developers, artists, draftsmen, instructors, accounting professionals, contracts professionals, IT professionals and support employees. LSI, Inc. also employs cadre of professional instructors providing flight training, new equipment training, and classroom training both in the U.S. and abroad.
