I've always loved the dramatic impact of mouldings in a room; ceilings appear higher, doors look custom, and your home feels more luxurious. Doing all that work yourself is expensive, messy, and time-consuming. So I thought, "what if there was a product that bypassed most of the work but was still high-end quality? But what if someone was renting? Could they get that custom, architectural look as well?" I began doing my research, and to my surprise, I couldn't find a product to fill this niche. When the economy impacted our family business, a design/build firm, in 2010, I got to work! I decided right in the beginning; I wasn't going to compromise on quality. My product would be the real deal, not made from plastic or other composites. It was going to be made from high-quality wood…the same quality as hiring a professional. After much development and testing, I finally produced my first Self-Adhering Two Piece Door Moulding Kit and put it on eBay and Etsy to test the market.
