About Major Medical Products

In April 1984, Major Medical Products (MMP) was founded with the idea to focus on a part of the hospital that they felt was under-served by other companies. Building on this idea, they set out to find the right mix of products to serve: Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, NICU and Pediatric departments. In 1985, after testing these products in the Midwest, the first catalogs were sent to every NICU and Newborn Nursery in the USA. 40 years later MMP's goal is still the same—to consistently manufacture and supply quality neonatal and pediatric medical products to hospitals across the US that include: Phototherapy protection, infant caps, armboards, stethoscopes, incubator supplies and scales. We can work with any materials management program a healthcare provider has in place - to either order directly from MMP or thru distributors like Medline Industries and Owens & Minor.
