About Marcus Realty
In 1971, the late Marcus K. Nishikawa founded Marcus & Associates as a residential real estate company. Over the next several decades, and up until his passing, Mr. Nishikawa built the company into one whose name and reputation was synonymous with hard work, dedication, integrity and expertise in the Hawaii real estate market. Differentiating Marcus the man from Marcus & Associates was anything but easy since Mr. Nishikawa’s reputation was firmly imprinted into the DNA of the company. But with his legacy came an inner strength. Dale K. Nishikawa and Norman Noguchi took up the mantle and shepherded the brand into the company it is today. Marcus - now diversified to include commercial, property management and construction - represents tenacity in the new generation that is carrying the Marcus legacy into the future. In 2021, the company simplified its name to Marcus, signaling the transition into a new era of leadership by Marcus’s sons Kevin, Jason and Brent. Today, Marcus remains true to its founder and his values. With 60+ employees helping to bring the brand forward, it is the largest locally owned, family-run, non-franchised company in the islands that specializes in Hawaii real estate; providing personalized, professional services in residential and commercial sales, property management, construction, and plumbing.
