My name is Margaret A. Phelps, nicknamed Maggie as a child, I came to genealogy from a very personal experience. I am a graduate of West Chester University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Theater. My three sisters and I grew up knowing that our mother had a long lost sister. I used my sleuthing skills, coupled with my skill as an online researcher, and actually found that sister, my aunt, halfway around the world. That discovery reunited a family, a family who had longed for one another for over 50 years. In addition to finding living relatives, I am skilled in finding ancestors: when and where they were born; how they connect to different branches of their families; and how they lived and died.
