Material Institute Lutruwita / Tasmania is a charity founded by artist and curator Kirsha Kaechele’s that has two community sites, Botanical in Bridgewater, Bond Place in Gagebrook in Southern Tasmania. We host community events with workshops based on art, ceramics, healthy cooking, food growing and natural beauty. We gift our locally organically grown produce to local food hubs, community groups and our 24 Carrot Schools. Our vision is to help children, young people and their families be healthy, resilient, ambitious and able to achieve their full potential.
