At MDG Associates, Inc., we provide administrative consulting services to government agencies and private clients across the United States. Our services include planning, administering and implementing programs funded locally with federal grants, such as those offered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that assist low- and moderate income families and communities. Our clients benefit from the expertise of our multidisciplinary team of subject-matter experts who possess the right combination of knowledge and hands-on experience to help our clients navigate complex federal, state and local regulations to achieve success. We believe that technology alone does not solve difficult problems—people do. We focus on the needs of our clients by listening, asking the right questions and crafting solutions that deliver measurable results. Our services are focused in four main areas: grants planning and administration; implementation and project management; monitoring and compliance review; and, training and technical assistance. We prepare detailed housing and community development plans using a variety of data and planning frameworks to help our clients maximize their community investments. We provide support to help our clients administer their programs in compliance with government regulations. We provide expert staffing to implement housing rehabilitation and commercial rehabilitation programs as well as first-time homebuyer programs. We keep our clients and their subrecipients on track through risk-based monitoring to ensure compliance with program regulations and administrative requirements such as procurement, contracting and prevailing wages. We provide training and technical assistance to States and local governments on behalf of HUD, including providing training in Spanish in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
