By maintaining a clear focus on their mission, MechLog is arguably one of Australia’s premier provider of harvesting services to the forestry industry. MechLog commenced operations in 1994. Since that time, the company has established its brand and its ‘Forestry with Care’ approach to industry practices as a respected services provider to the sector. Over the years, MechLog has kept pace with the latest technology and forestry practices. By embracing the changes within the industry, adopting new technologies, and maintaining a fleet of modern equipment, MechLog has built a successful sustainable business, and created greater efficiencies and productivity to meet the requirements of their clients and the demands of the end-users. MechLog attribute a great part of its success to its team of 37 employees, most of whom have been employed by the company for over a decade. The company remains a family-owned business; and it is due to this direct day-to-day operational involvement; and the combined experience of the directors that it is recognised as a successful, Australian-owned, forestry enterprise. MechLog’s senior management team is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the growing number of forestry teams across the country. Their specific attention to quality control, environmental management, and customer service, sets the company apart as a progressive, sustainable, forestry enterprise.
