Meercat Boats' road-transportable version, with its unique sectional design, enables each hull to be easily transported to remote and inland regions and reconnected to form a single-hulled vessel with a solid, strong working deck. Meercat Boats are designed and built in Hythe, near Southampton, UK. Meercat Boats' large, well-equipped facilities include two 15-ton gantry cranes, a 14m x 4m plasma cutting table, an aluminium welding bay, water trial facilities, 1000 ton ship lift, 40 ton boat hoist and a design studio; enabling all aspects of the build and design process to be handled in-house and on-site.
