About Memphis Consumer Credit Education Association
In response to overwhelming requests from its members, Memphis Consumer Credit Association founded Memphis Consumer Credit Education Association, known as MCCEA, in 2004. MCCEA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization committed to consumer education and community outreach. Employees are dedicated to providing guidance, counseling and knowledge to individuals who are seeking assistance in purchasing a new home, achieving successful personal financial management, and understanding their own creditworthiness. MCCEA offers a number of educational opportunities to consumers and lenders in the Memphis Metropolitan Statistical Area. Currently, MCCEA is a HUD and THDA approved counseling agency that employs staff members who provide quality credit and homebuyer education and counseling on an individual and group basis. Our Mission: Our mission is to provide quality credit, budgeting, and homebuyer educational guidance to all interested individuals in the Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi statistical area. Our services are based on the highest professional and ethical standards as we strive to provide knowledge to those who seek financial stability through personal responsibility, finance management and homeownership.
